My Life Has Changed!!!

Well it has taken me a while to get on track, but A.J. arrived on 11/7/08 at 4:16pm. He is absolutely precious but boy has he rocked my world!!! Its amazing to me how much I had forgotten about the newborn stages since Sid is a bit older. Let's just say I long for SLEEP, as many of you mommies can understand, I'm sure. Things are going well. He is already a month old and getting bigger each day. Sidney loves him. She reads to him, sings to him and constantly wants to hold him. She even decided to pick him up a couple times...Yikes!!! I'm enjoying being home so that I can be a part of her pre-school experience. Taking her and picking her up each day is a joy that I was missing out on. Now if we could just win the lottery I wouldnt have to think about going back to work next year!!! For now, Im savoring the moments of being at home and trying to remember to enjoy this time because it sure goes fast. Gotta run...Sidney's on the potty and needs some assistance!!!

A week and a half to go!

I can't believe it! I only have a week and a half left of work and 11 days before A.J. arrives! I feel a little overwhelmed at this point b/c I'm not sure how I will get all that needs to be done, finished, but at this point, I'm trying not to worry about it. I'm going through the emotions of nervousness, fear, and pure excitement!!! My main hope of course is that baby A.J. will be born healthy and happy and from that point on, we'll figure it all out. I'll be in touch more once I'm in the swing of things! Until then, pregnant lady is taking 1 day at a time...
